PFA Learning Series – Office Property Lease Incentives

Hosted by Yardi, our property experts will discuss Office Property Lease Incentives

The impact and risks for owners, legal documentation and valuations

Lease incentives are a significant part of the Australian office sector. Our speakers will present and have a panel discussion on the impact of office leases from the perspective of ownership, legal issues and  valuations. Key issues will be: changing demand levels in the short and long term and why this impacts the way in which the sector uses incentives; differences between direct leased space and sublease space and how this can wash through to asset values; how incentives can be an effective tool; how you apply incentives and what the documentation looks like for the differing types; and how valuers extract the numbers they need to produce realistic valuations with compressed diligence timeframes and lack of clarity around the data.

Moderated by Nicola Woodward, Partner, Property & Environmental Services, KPMG, our panel of property experts include: Michael Cook, Carrie Rogers and Greg Preston
