At the PFA we are focused on promoting diversity and enhancing the role of the Female Executives in the Australian Property and Funds Management Profession.
Join us for an intimate lunch with Alice Tang, Chief Operating Officer, MA Asset Management.
Melissa Kingham, Executive Director, Haben and PFA President will moderate an open discussion where Alice Tang will share how stepping out of her comfort zone via an overseas posting and running technology projects has changed her career trajectory and how technology and AI are shaping funds management.

Alice Tang is the Chief Operating Officer of MA Asset Management, an ASX listed diversified alternatives asset manager. MA’s Asset Under Management has grown from $3.5bn to $9.6bn during her 5 years tenure. Prior to MA Asset management, Alice was at the Macquarie Group for 16 years where she held senior leadership positions in investment, funds management and risk roles with the majority of her time spent in real estate funds management.
Her career highlights include:
• Setting the governance and operating model for a scalable asset management business
• Managing the technology transformation for 1200 global investment bankers and 30 locations through a Salesforce implementation
• Driving value for global institutional investors in their shopping centre investments in China
Alice is an executive director on MA’s trustee boards and is currently serving on the UNSW Advisory Alumni Board. She completed an Accounting Co-Op at UNSW and she has also undertaken her MBA (Exec) with the AGSM and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant ANZ.

Melissa will be moderating an open discussion with Alice tang. She has a deep understanding of property and in-depth knowledge of the retail property sector, mixed use development and repositioning strategies.
As Chair of the Investment Committee, Responsible Manager and President of the PFA, Melissa is involved in all aspect of the Haben business including funds management, real estate strategy, capital transactions, development management and compliance.
