Damon Mumford is the Fund Manager for Dexus’s hybrid fund for retail investors, the Dexus Core Property Fund. As Fund Manager, Damon is responsible for establishing and implementing portfolio and investment strategy for the Fund.
Damon has more than 25 years’ experience in real estate investment management, valuation, transactions, development feasibility and corporate advisory in Australia and internationally. Damon was previously the Valuation Manager for AMP Capital Real Estate in Australia and New Zealand for seven years and has a detailed knowledge of the real estate market. In his previous role Damon provided commercial and investment advice to the Funds Management, Investment Management and Development Management teams and was a member of the Property Investment Committee.
Prior to joining AMP Capital, Damon was a Director in the Real Estate Advisory Services division of Ernst & Young where he worked for 13 years in Australia and the UK providing a variety of services including transaction management, development feasibility and investment management advice, valuation, real estate process and risk reviews and corporate real estate advisory.
Damon is a Certified Practising Valuer and holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
